The newly appointed Supreme Court President and Deputy President

The president and vice president of the Federal Supreme Court have resigned voluntarily. Mr. Tewodros Mehret and Ms. Ababa Mbiale were appointed as President and Vice President by the House of Representatives today, in place of the President and Vice President of the Supreme Court who resigned voluntarily.

The president and vice president of the Federal Supreme Court have resigned voluntarily. In place of the President and Vice President of the Supreme Court who resigned voluntarily, Mr. Tewodros Mehret and Ms. Ababa Mbiale were appointed as President and Vice President by the House of Representatives today.
The new appointees nominated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed will replace Mrs. Meaza Ashenafi and Mr. Solomon Areda who have been in charge of the Federal Supreme Court for the past four years and have resigned voluntarily.
